LCPC FUNdraising Goals

Thank you to all who have participated in our fundraising efforts!  OUR BEAUTIFUL NEW PICKLEBALL COMPLEX IS OPEN...with lights!!   Our goal now, based on feedback from our membership and to stay true to our mission, is to continue fundraising to meet our growing demand for more courts in 2024 and beyond. 

Current Status

After months of meetings and collaborations between LCPC Board Members and City of Oconomowoc representatives, the Oconomowoc Common Council, during their November meeting, unanimously approved the proposed ten (10) additional pickleball courts at NE Park!

The City of Oconomowoc has approved providing $200,000 towards the court expansion. Using the estimate from the contractor of our current 10 courts, and considering the significant inflation of the cost of asphalt, we are estimating the total cost of the 10 more tournament-quality pickleball courts at NE Park to cost approximately $600,000.

The LCPC Board has set a goal of raising $200,000.  The plan is to use the current savings from past membership dues, current membership dues (sign up early!) and acquire a short-term loan against future year's dues. Our goal of $200,000 will be needed in addition to the loan and the city’s portion to reach the estimated total of $600,000.

Can my donation be used as a tax write-off?

YES!!  LCPC has opened an account with the Friends of Oconomowoc Parks and Trails (FOPT), a 501c(3), so your donation is fully tax deductible.  

How to donate

The Friends of Oconomowoc Parks and Trails Inc. is acting as Lake Country Pickleball Club’s  fiscal sponsor.  Their responsibility as our fiscal sponsor is to ensure that the funds you donate are used for the specific purpose intended - building Pickleball courts.  In addition, their status as a 501(c) 3 means that your donation is tax deductible.  To donate, please follow the directions below:

  1. Please make your check payable to Friends of Oconomowoc Parks and Trails Inc. 
  2. Please make sure that you indicate “Pickleball” in the memo line.
  3. It is very important to include your return address so you receive your tax deduction statement!!
  4. Please send your check to the address below.

The last option available to donate, is to go directly to the Friends of Oconomowoc Parks and Trails website found here.  Click on the "donate" tab and fill out the appropriate information.  On the "where would you like your money to go" tab, select "pickleball courts fund".  We highly encourage a check versus a credit card donation or the credit card processing fees will be deducted from your donation!
